Privacy Policy
Kristiansand municipality, through Business Region Kristiansand, offers Relocation Agder, which assists companies in Agder with applications for residence to the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) for newly hired international employees and their family members. Relocation Agder supports each individual throughout the immigration process with all practical matters. Relocation Agder also invites the internationals assisted through the service to a social event six times a year.
All our partner companies and their employees are free to provide the necessary information on our website to request Relocation Agder’s services. By submitting this information, you confirm that you consent to us using it in relation to our services. Once all services have been completed and the information has been archived in accordance with Norwegian law, the data will be permanently deleted.
The legal basis for processing personal data for this service is the General Data Protection Regulation, Article 6(1)(a), consent. Use of the service is voluntary.

To provide the service, the municipality collects the following personal data about you: name, date of birth, phone number, email address, citizenship, marital status, passport number, residential address, DUF number, and authorization to UDI. Personal data collected from others than the data subject: name and email are initially shared with the employer so that Relocation Agder can contact the relevant person directly.
Storage and Deletion
The data is stored for 3 years, after which a new consent declaration will be obtained if necessary in line with the purpose.
Relocation Agder collects and stores personal data based on consent to provide our services efficiently and continuously. When issuing work visas, which typically have a validity of three years, it is important for us to assist our users throughout this period to ensure continuity of service, efficient handling of inquiries, record-keeping, legal and operational compliance, and invoicing for assignments and/or UDI fees.

Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI)
- Purpose: assist with residence applications to UDI (skilled/family immigration)

Norwegian Tax Administration
- Purpose: assist with case processing regarding registration of moving notifications to Norway, issuance of personal identification number, or other assistance requested by the individual from the tax administration.

Police
- Purpose: assist with follow-up in case processing for registration and implementation of residence permits in Norway, assistance with applications for early work permits, scheduling registration appointments, and any other support requested by the individual at the agency.

Bank
- Purpose: assist with opening a bank account if desired, on a case-by-case basis.

Consequences
The processing will have no consequences or effect on the data subject if they do not provide personal information.
